RETURN AND REFUND POLICY

This Return and Refund Policy (the "Policy") governs the terms and conditions under which refunds and course transfers may be requested by students enrolled in training programs offered by SourceKode Training Institute ("SourceKode," "we," "us," or "our") at our centers in India or through our online platforms. By enrolling in any course, including but not limited to Android, iOS, Java, Web Development, Digital Marketing, or Software Testing, you ("Student" or "you") agree to be bound by this Policy. This Policy is drafted in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and other applicable Indian laws.

1. Definitions

1.1. Batch Commencement Date: The official start date of the course batch in which the Student is enrolled, as communicated by SourceKode.

1.2. Course Fees: The total amount paid by the Student for enrollment in a specific course, excluding taxes or third-party charges.

1.3. Refund Request: A written request submitted by the Student for a refund of Course Fees, in accordance with this Policy.

1.4. Transfer Request: A written request submitted by the Student to transfer enrollment to another batch or course.

2. Refund Eligibility and Conditions

Refunds of Course Fees are subject to the following conditions, based on the timing of the Refund Request relative to the Batch Commencement Date:

2.1. Within Seven (7) Days of Batch Commencement

  • Eligibility: Students who withdraw from a course within seven (7) calendar days from the Batch Commencement Date are eligible for a full refund of the Course Fees paid.
  • Charges: No administrative, cancellation, or other charges shall be deducted.
  • Procedure: The Student must submit a written Refund Request via email to refunds@sourcekode.in or in person at SourceKode’s Pune center, accompanied by the documents listed in Section 4.2.

2.2. Between Eight (8) and Fifteen (15) Days of Batch Commencement

  • Eligibility: Students who withdraw from a course after seven (7) days but within fifteen (15) calendar days from the Batch Commencement Date are eligible for a partial refund.
  • Charges: A refund charge of twenty percent (20%) of the Course Fees paid shall be deducted to cover administrative and operational costs.
  • Procedure: The Student must submit a written Refund Request via email to refunds@sourcekode.in or in person, accompanied by the documents listed in Section 4.2.

2.3. After Fifteen (15) Days of Batch Commencement

  • Eligibility: No refunds shall be issued for Refund Requests submitted after fifteen (15) calendar days from the Batch Commencement Date.
  • Charges: A refund charge of one hundred percent (100%) of the Course Fees paid shall apply, resulting in no refund.
  • Rationale: This accounts for the allocation of resources, including trainer time, course materials, and batch planning, which cannot be recovered after this period.

3. Course Transferability

  • Transfer Within Six (6) Months: Students may request to transfer their enrollment to another batch or course of equivalent value within six (6) months from the date of admission without incurring any transfer charges, subject to availability and SourceKode’s approval. Transfer Requests must be submitted in writing via email to refunds@sourcekode.in or in person at SourceKode’s Pune center.
  • Transfer After Six (6) Months: Transfer Requests submitted after six (6) months from the date of admission require prior approval from SourceKode’s management. Students must contact the management via email at info@sourcekode.in to discuss eligibility and any applicable conditions.
  • Conditions: Transfers are subject to batch availability and may require adjustments to course content or duration if the requested course differs from the original enrollment.

4. Refund Process

4.4. Notification

  • An email acknowledgment shall be sent to the Student upon receipt of the Refund Request.
  • A final confirmation email shall be sent once the refund is processed.

5. Non-Refundable Components

  • Taxes and Fees: Government taxes, payment gateway charges, or third-party fees included in the Course Fees are non-refundable.
  • Promotional Discounts: Refunds for courses enrolled with discounts (e.g., referral or promotional offers) shall be calculated based on the discounted fee paid, not the original course fee.
  • Course Materials: Costs for physical or digital course materials (e.g., study guides, software access) provided to the Student shall be deducted from the refund amount if already issued.

6. Exceptions

6.1. Course Cancellation by SourceKode

  • If SourceKode cancels a batch or course due to unforeseen circumstances, Students shall be entitled to:
